Purpose

To bring together researchers and practitioners
in an effort to lay the groundwork for future collaborative research,
advocacy, and program development. To educate social service, health
care, and criminal justice professionals on human trafficking and the
needs and risks of those victimized by the commercial sex industry.

a[rel~="nofollow"] { a[rel~="nofollow"] { border: thin dashed firebrick ! important; background-color: rgb(255, 200, 200) ! important; } I can't help but wonder why prostitution in the US was legal in the 1800s as we drinking and playing poker yet they tried to out law poker and drinking with prohibition etc and it clearly did serious harm with mobsters taking over when the ATF regulated it, most of the serious crimes went away and i would think the same would be true of prostitution were legalized and regulated as it is in so many other countries and even parts of the US. I go to europe a few times a year for vacation and always look use london escorts without second thought about it. I’ve seen girls make good money stop working and open their own businesses.
