7th National Harm Reduction Conference
"Towards a National Policy"

The Harm Reduction Coalition (HRC) will be hosting the 7th National Harm Reduction Conference in Miami from November 13-16, 2008 and is currently seeking abstracts for workshops and panel discussions. Our theme this year is "Towards a National Policy" in an effort to think about harm reduction outside of just our own communities and neighborhoods. Every other year, we work hard to make sure topics relevant to harm reduction are present at the conference: overdose, drug user health, organizing, needle exchange, youth, GLBT issues, sex worki, and more. If you do submit an abstract(s), your registration fee will be less as there is a speakers fee. HRC offers scholarships but unfortunately does not cover airfare or meals - only part of the registration fee and hotel accommodations if you share a room with another recepient.
